Before I came here, I thought “I want to improve my English skills” and “I want to experience other cultures with my own eyes.”I was able to achieve both of these goals!At first, when I arrived, I couldn’t understand what my friends and host family were saying in English because my English skills were not good.However, as time passed, I got used to the lifestyle here and the speed of English, and now I can understand much better.Second, I experienced new culture in Canada. I was surprised by how close people feel to each other, like when they talk casually with strangers or customers.I think it’s a very nice culture!Through this study abroad experience, I gained a new dream, which is to live in another country, for example through a working holiday.
That’s why this study abroad gave me new values and amazing memories.
